Three unanswered goals in the second period lead the dogs to a win

Ben Norton keeps his spot between the pipes while Walker Sommer is out of the lineup due to injury. They stay without Fin Ulrick who keeps his spot in the Steelers roster.

Period One (0-1)

Ben Norton faced the first shot of the game just 12 seconds in however all attention then turned on Marr as the Steeldogs applied pressure in their offence zone.

The Sharks found themselves on the scoresheet first as Joe Coulter fired it five-hole from a one-timer feed from Kyle Carruth.

The visitors keep hold of this momentum as they force Ben Norton to make strings of saves, keeping the goal deficit at one.

The Steeldogs had the final look of the period but they weren’t able to equalise.

Period Two (3-1)

The home team came out on top, applying the pressure to the Sharks.

Sam Tremblay found the back of the net for the home team first, firing the one-timer from Elmeri Hallfors, leaving Marr no time to react.

It took just over a minute for the Dogs to take the lead through a breakaway goal from Morgan Clarke-Pizzo, following a pass from Tim Smith.

With two seconds left of the period, Sam Tremblay added to his tally with a powerplay goal assisted by Ivan Bjorkly-Nordstrom.

Period Three (3-2)

However Elmeri Hallfors secured the win with two goals in the final five minutes.

The first coming at 56:30 as he slotted the puck past Marr at the bottom of the faceoff circle.

The final goal was a short handed goal, while Jonathan Phillips sat in the box for tripping. Tremblay fed the puck to Hallförs who fired it past Marr.
